CHOCOLATE CAKE WITH RED WINE
Here we bring you a recipe that, although it only seems for the daring, since combining wine with cocoa may sound quite strange, we assure you that you will love this mixture.
INGREDIENTS
• 4 fresh eggs L
• 75 g white sugar
• 75 g brown sugar
• 120 ml of El Maestrino red wine
• 15 g of yeast
• 200 g of wheat flour
• 200 g of unsalted butter
• 150 g of cocoa powder
• 50 g of dark chocolate for desserts
• A pinch of salt
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
PREPARATION
First we will preheat the oven to 180 ºC.
Then in a bowl we put the 4 eggs and beat them. Then we add the white and brown sugar and continue beating with the help of some electric rods until they whiten and increase in volume.
Once we have beaten it well, add the chopped butter at room temperature and continue beating. Then we add the cocoa powder, grated chocolate and red wine.
On the other hand, in the bowl that we have the flour we add the yeast, the pinch of salt, the teaspoon of cinnamon and mix. Next, we add the sifted flour to the mixture in two batches making enveloping movements, making sure that there are no lumps in the bottom.
We paint the silicone mold with an oil spray. Pour the mixture into the mold and place it in the oven at 180ºC for about 35-40 minutes or until a needle pricks it out clean.
Let cool for 5 minutes in the pan and transfer to a wire rack to finish cooling.
To decorate, sprinkle the cake with icing sugar and it would be ready to serve.
